Amendments to worldwide harmonized passing beam, measurement & definition of cut-off & sharpness; Clarify/update adaptation of headlamps between left-hand and right-hand traffic; Clarify test requirements for devices incorporated in headlamps; LED modules for bend lighting or infrared sources; Light source start-up requirements: common light source for both beams; Update test for photometric characteristics ref DRL activation & Insert refs to R37 + R99, & to IEC 60061.

Amendments to passing beam/driving beam equipped with LED modules including numeric definition and measurement of "cutoff" sharpness and position. Prevent discomfort to users in other countries with corresponding changes to Tranisitonal Provisions & footnotes. Devices reference Regulation 37 & are robust enough to withstand 50,000 operations & operation in case of failure. Delete reference to users cannot change the shape or position of the moving parts.
